Surtreat Solutions wants to congratulate Art Allen, the founder of A & G Concrete Pools of Port St. Lucie, Florida on being named 2021 Entrepreneur of the Year by Indian River State College Foundation. Art Allen founded A & G Concrete Pools in 1987, and under his leadership the company has grown from a small garage-based startup to the largest pool builder in Florida with annual sales over $27 million last year.
The IRSC Foundation’s 2021 Entrepreneur of the Year award recognizes the entrepreneurial spirit, business excellence, and community involvement. This award is central to the Dar K. Richardson Entrepreneurship Program. Established by the IRSC Foundation, this program is designed to raise awareness and appreciation of the free enterprise system. It provides community lectures, instructional programs, and other forms of education to encourage entrepreneurship.
