SurCoPrimer – Corrosion Inhibiting Concrete Primer and Strengthener
SURCOPRIMER:
a system used as an underlayment for concrete repairs, sealants, coatings, and FRP. SurCoPrimer fixes underlying issues that can cause concrete repair systems to fail, such as corrosion and weak substrates.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
- SurCoPrimer is a system of a coating and corrosion inhibitors to penetrate the weak contaminated concrete substrates to increase adhesion and concrete strength
- Elevate the pH levels within the concrete and create a buffer zone that protects the future pH levels
- Increase tensile and compressive strength
- Reduce water permeability within the concrete to protect from water deposited chlorides and other contaminants
- Create a non-corrosive environment for the embedded steel
- SurCoPrimer components in gaseous form deposit on all elements of steel to provide a corrosion shield for the rebar infrastructure.
- By implementing SurCoPrimer, a stable and durable substrate is emphasized through increased tensile and compressive strength. In addition, any corrosion is pacified, inhibited, and reversed to prevent future delamination due to corrosive rebar expansion.
WHERE TO USE
Prior to the installation of fiber reinforced polymers (FRP), coatings, paints, overlays, waterproofing membranes, etc.
Higher substrate tensile and compressive strength due to application of SurCoPrimer provides for improved repair durability with superior adhesive properties.
