REPEL WB BIO

Repel WB BIO – Concrete, Brick, Stone and Mortar
Surtreat Repel WB BIO is a solvent-free concentrated blend of siloxane and silane enhanced with a biostatic agent designed for job site dilution with clean water. The unique silicone micro-emulsion creates an effective water repellent for a wide variety of substrates such as split face solid block, architectural concrete, clay brick, clay tile, sandstone and clay and concrete pavers.
Surtreat Repel WB BIO is protected from degradation by many types of micro-organisms. The treated surface resists the accumulation of biological growth and is an excellent means for protecting masonry from water penetration leading to freeze/thaw damage, efflorescence and dirt accumulation.
Benefits
Surtreat Repel WB BIO is formulated to not cause a color change when properly diluted. Surtreat Repel WB BIO physically and chemically bonds to substrates, UV stable, VOC compliant, and highly vapor permeable..
Packaging
5 gallon pail and 55 gallon drum.

Application Procedure
All surfaces must be clean, subsurface and surface dry. Protect all foliage, windows, adjacent surfaces that are not to receive the treatment, vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
Close off all ventilation and other means of entry into the structure. Dilute according to specifications or the suggested rates outlined here. Using the method to be employed on the project, apply to an area of 10 square feet to determine the consumption rate. A spray application is preferred but roller and brush application maybe acceptable for some projects. Apply with a low pressure spray taking care to not atomize the fluid. For vertical surfaces a flood coat is required where a rundown of 6 to 10 inches is obtained below the application point. When used for very porous surfaces, a wet on wet application will give the best results. On dense surfaces only a single application is required. If a second coat is desired, it must be applied before the first one has dried.
Diluted product must be used within 48 hours as the solution will become unstable. Clean all equipment with soap and water.
Limitations
- Dilute with clean water only.
- Do not apply when the surface and ambient temperatures are below 40 degrees F.
- DO NOT RETURN UNUSED MATERIAL TO THE ORIGINAL CONTAINER.
- Reseal Surtreat Repel WB BIO concentrate after each use.
- Full repellence is not reached until 72 hours after application.
- Do not attempt to recoat the surfaces after they have dried.
