Foundation Protection & Concrete Repair | Stop Water Seepage & Strengthen Structures

The Problem: Water Infiltration & Structural Weakening in Foundations

Foundations are constantly exposed to water seepage, soil pressure, and concrete deterioration. Over time, moisture intrusion, chloride exposure, and shifting soil lead to cracking, spalling, and rebar corrosion, weakening the structural integrity of buildings and increasing maintenance costs.

The Solution: Surtreat’s Comprehensive Foundation Protection System

Surtreat provides a three-part system to protect, strengthen, and waterproof foundations:

  • TPS XII: Vapor-phase corrosion inhibitor that migrates through concrete and protects embedded steel.
  • TPS II: Concrete densifier that strengthens the matrix and reduces porosity.
  • SurCoat: Cementitious repair system that seals cracks and restores surface integrity.

Application Process: How to Protect & Repair Foundations

Step 1: Surface Cleaning
- Remove dirt, debris, and contaminants to allow full penetration of treatment.
- Ensure exposed rebar is cleaned using mechanical methods for proper adhesion.

Step 2: Apply TPS XII
- Apply TPS XII to prevent corrosion and form a protective layer around rebar.
- Migrates deep into the concrete, neutralizing chloride attack and moisture damage.

Step 3: Apply TPS II
- Apply TPS II to reinforce the concrete matrix, increase strength, and minimize water permeability.
- Enhances the structure's durability by reducing future deterioration.

Step 4: Apply SurCoat
- Apply SurCoat to seal visible cracks and restore damaged surfaces.
- Provides a durable, cement-like finish that prevents further moisture ingress.

Results: Why Surtreat’s Foundation Protection System Works

Strengthened Foundations – Reinforces concrete, preventing future cracking and spalling.
Waterproof & Moisture-Resistant – Reduces water infiltration and prevents hydrostatic pressure damage.
Corrosion Protection – TPS XII inhibits chloride-induced rebar corrosion, extending service life.
Long-Term Structural Stability – TPS II reduces porosity and improves overall durability.
Cost-Effective Maintenance – Minimizes repairs by preventing future foundation deterioration.
