TPS XV DTM

Direct-to-Metal Corrosion Inhibitor for Steel

Vapor-Phase Protection for Steel & Post-Tensioned Cables

TPS XV DTM is a 40% solvent-based vapor-phase corrosion inhibitor designed for direct-to-metal applications. It actively protects steel structures, post-tensioned cables, and rusted metal surfaces by adsorbing onto all metal surfaces, preventing further corrosion at both anodic and cathodic sites. The inhibitor migrates within confined spaces, making it ideal for cable bundle injection and other hard-to-reach areas.

Key Benefits

✅ Protects post-tensioned cables from internal corrosion.
✅ Adsorbs onto all metal surfaces, including recessed areas.
✅ Replenishes protective layers when exposed to moisture.
✅ Prevents further rusting of pre-coated and painted steel.
✅ Low-viscosity formula allows for easy injection into steel sheaths.
✅ Does not interfere with mechanical components or operation.

Application Guide

Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are free of loose rust, debris, and contaminants. For best results, remove any dirt or oils before application.

Application Method: TPS XV DTM can be applied by brush, roller, or low-pressure spray. For post-tensioned cables, inject at a rate of 100-125 milliliters per meter.

Absorption & Drying: Allow the inhibitor to absorb into the surface. The protective layer forms as the solvent evaporates.

Reapplication & Compatibility: If additional protection is needed, a second application may be performed. TPS XV DTM is compatible with most coatings and sealants.
