VCI Primer

Polyurethane Top Coat

VCI System

Advanced Corrosion Protection for Steel & Marine Structures

Dual-Layer Corrosion Protection System

The VCI System is a two-step protective coating system combining VCI Primer and Polyurethane Top Coat to provide unmatched corrosion resistance for steel assets. Developed with vapor-phase corrosion inhibitor (VCI) technology, this system actively protects steel surfaces in aggressive environments by preventing oxidation and corrosion at both anodic and cathodic sites.

Key Benefits

✅ Long-term corrosion resistance for steel and marine structures.
✅ Penetrates and protects steel surfaces, even with existing rust.
✅ Excellent adhesion and durability for industrial applications.
✅ UV-resistant polyurethane top coat prevents weathering.
✅ Enhanced resistance to chemicals, salts, and moisture.
✅ Meets MIL-PRF-85285 and MIL-DTL-24441 specifications.

Application Guide

Step 1: Apply VCI Primer

Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is free of grease, dirt, oil, and rust. For best results, remove loose rust with a wire brush or pressure washing.

Application Method: Apply VCI Primer using a brush, roller, or airless spray. Recommended dry film thickness: 3-4 mils.

Drying Time: Allow 8 hours before applying the top coat. Full cure in 7 days.

Step 2: Apply Polyurethane Top Coat

Mixing Instructions: Using a 4:1 ratio, mix Component A with Component B. Stir thoroughly before application.

Application Method: Apply using a sprayer, brush, or roller. Recommended dry film thickness: 1.5 - 2.0 mils per coat.

Drying Time: Touch dry in 6 hours. Full cure in 12 hours. Overcoating interval: 16 hours minimum.
